Around a forty-five minute drive from the barn is the town of Machynlleth. Well worth the trip, especially maybe on rainier days away from the beaches, Machynlleth has more than the average share of quirky, curio-stuffed antique shops and friendly cafes. We recommend coinciding with market day on a Wednesday.
