Aberaeron

Aberaeron is a picturesque harbour town on the coast around fifteen minutes south of Aberystwyth. Distinctive for its multi-coloured houses, the town contains a number of delicatessens, cafes and shops, as well as some of the more ‘traditional’ seaside attractions (honey ice creams at the Hive cafe on the harbour front are particularly recommended!).

Towards the sea front you can find the Harbourmasters Arms, good for a hearty lunch or a slightly more substantial dinner. Back on the other side of the harbour you can also find award-winning restaurant, The Cellar.
